ACDF is a community based not for profit organisation aimed at improving and developing for the Avon Valley Community of Western Australia a Prosperous and Thriving Community. ACDF is a not for profit community body incorporated in 1989 under the Western Australian Associations Incorporations Act (1987).Membership sits around 100 with representation from local government, State government agencies

, politicians, private citizens, education and training institutions, industry, commerce and business. ACDF’s CEO carries out the operations of the Foundation. ACDF’s culture and success has centred on this formula with the CEO implementing the goals and objectives through a process of partnership, facilitation and direction. The Aim and the idea is to improve the quality of life within the Avon Region through the creation of quality jobs and better health and education facilities for present and future generations.
