Standing in front of the Wahroonga Rugby Club today, I couldn’t help but feel the full circle moment. This place isn’t just a clubhouse, it’s where Time is Precious was born out of shared memories, friendships, and a vision for something bigger. It’s where Amy’s dad and Rob hung out, where Amy and Sara worked side by side for years, and where the idea of Time is Precious first sparked to life. Coming back here reminds me why we started - and maybe, just maybe, this spot is about to witness another exciting chapter. Stay tuned - there’s more to come! 👀

Hi everyone,

Over the past few years, Time is Precious has grown into something we are so incredibly proud of. What started as an idea has become a community - one that has now raised over $250,000 for Bowel Cancer Australia.

Behind every event, every post, every detail… is a huge amount of time, energy and heart. This cause means so much to both of us, and we are constantly thinking about how we can do more, reach more people, and make an even bigger impact.

That’s where we need your help.

We’ve created a short survey (it takes just a few minutes) to better understand what you want to see from Time is Precious — whether you’ve been to an event, supported us from afar, or are just hearing about us now.

Your input will directly shape what we do next - from the types of events we run, to how we raise awareness, to how we continue supporting those affected by bowel cancer.

Our 2025 Time is Precious Ball was more than a celebration — it was a reminder of why we do what we do.

Time is Precious exists to honour those we’ve lost, support those fighting bowel cancer, and create a future where no one feels alone in their darkest moments. And thanks to the unwavering generosity of our incredible community, we’ve now raised over a quarter of a million dollars to support awareness, early detection, and the vital initiatives of

This ball brought together people whose lives have been touched by bowel cancer in so many different ways — families, friends, survivors, advocates, and supporters. The stories shared, and the love in the room were nothing short of extraordinary.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
For showing up. For standing with us. For believing in our mission & constantly backing us.

Together, we are changing lives — and that will always be our greatest achievement.

We are so proud of this crew!!! has been working throughout the year with as a partner organisation for the character and enterprise program. The students joined us for a day in the city (visiting research labs, event locations & handing out flyers) and have spent the year developing some fundraising plans for Time is Precious.

The students raised an incredible $500 while generating awareness for bowel cancer within their community.

We love being able to find different ways to share the mission of Time Is Precious, and inspiring others to give back to a community which needs it greatly ❤️

We’re proud to share that during Bowel Cancer Awareness Month, you helped us to eat 460 avo toasts, raising $460 for 😲
Dora and Andrew have decided to match that amount, so with your help, we’ve donated a total of $920 to fight this disease 💪

Bowel cancer is no longer just an 'older person's disease', with rates having increased by 266% among young people aged 15–24 over the past 30 years😓
One in 10 new cases now occur in people under 50, but early detection saves lives!

Knowing the signs and acting quickly can make all the difference and the money we have helped to raise (with your amazing support!) will go a long way towards supporting this🙌

We have met so many incredible people through our bowel cancer advocacy journey, and many we call truly special friends ❤️‍🩹

We have all been impacted by bowel cancer in so many different ways, and stand together united in the fight for the same cause 🍎

It’s very emotional to reflect on the impact we have had, and the challenges everyone has faced, but when you’re surrounded by such a wonderful community it’s a constant reminder that the work is far from over, and more important than ever.

Thanks to everyone’s generosity, we are able to make an impact for our fellow advocates and community.
