🐴 Riding for the Disabled Tamworth – Horses Wanted 🐴
Riding for the Disabled Tamworth is currently looking for suitable ridden horses to join our program and help support our riders.
We are seeking horses that are:
• Beginner-friendly and quiet in nature
• Reliable and sensible
• Under 20 years of age
• Comfortable working with a variety of riders and volunteers
• Suitable for the RDA environment

We would love for horses to be donated, offered for lease or we are also happy to purchase for a small fee, as this allows us to continue putting our resources towards supporting our riders and running our program.

All our horses are well looked after and provided with daily TLC. We are also happy to make arrangements to return horses when they are ready to be retired.

If you have a horse that you believe may be suitable, or know of someone who might, please get in touch with us by emailing [email protected] .
We would be very happy to have a conversation and assess whether your horse could be a good fit for our program.

Please feel free to share this post — you never know where our next RDA superstar might come from! 🐴🌟

Unfortunately it has just started heavily raining at the centre this morning with more rain predicted for the rest of the day we have made the discission to cancel todays riding and carriage activies in the interest of safety for our participents, volunteers and horses. There will still be a small working bee taking place in our undercover areas for any volunteers who are able to attend.

Morning all, we have unfortunately had to make the decision to cancel our riding day again this week as the ground at the center is still too wet from recent rain for it to be safe for our participants, volunteers and horses.

Hopefully the weather clears up this comming week🤞 and we look forward to welcoming everyone back to the center soon
