🐐 In rural Vietnam, 48 households recently completed hands-on goat husbandry training, learning how to build shelters, manage feed and care for livestock.

With the provision of two breeding goats, course participants are now on the road to developing long-term and sustainable income streams for their households.

On 26 August, a flash flood triggered by an avalanche tore through five districts in Nepal. Homes, roads and livelihoods were swept away and an estimated 65,000 people were affected, including around 22,000 children.

Our Good Neighbours Global Emergency Response team in Nepal has already reached 2,100 households with emergency food and essential items, and opened child-friendly spaces at holding centres so children have a safe place to play and begin to recover.

But there are thousands of families still waiting. Your donation today can provide food, clean water supplies and hygiene essentials to families who have lost everything. Learn more about our Nepal Emergency Response appeal at https://www.goodneighbours.com.au/nepal-emergency-appeal/

Behind every girl who remains in school is a teacher who believes she belongs there. 💚

This World Teachers' Day, we celebrate the teachers in our Better Life for Girls program, trained to end period stigma so girls can keep learning with confidence.

Help us support teachers and girls: a $30 donation helps fund a girl's access to safe, clean school facilities, a menstrual health kit, and training and peer support. Learn more at 👉 goodneighbours.com.au/better-life-for-girls
