From 1 July 2026, NSW duty holders must comply with approved Codes of Practice — or demonstrate an equivalent standard. SafeWork NSW has also hired 20 specialist psychosocial safety inspectors, boosting its inspectorate by 12%. Expect more visits focused on mental health, bullying and stress.
