Great news for the Vincent Community Shed! 🎉

Following the 2025 State Election, the Shed received a $5000 grant from the Western Australian State Government. This funding allowed us to replace our old wood lathe, upgrade our drill press to a modern variable-speed model, and purchase a new battery-operated orbital sander — all great additions for our members and projects.

A big thank you to John Carey and Frank Paolino MLA for their continued support. We really appreciate it.

Great news for the new year!

In 2026, we’re extending our opening hours!
The Shed will now be open every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, from 8:30am to 4:00pm (except public holidays).

That means more time for woodworking, metalwork, projects, learning new skills, sharing a cuppa, and enjoying good company. Whether you’re in the middle of a build or just want to drop in, there’s now more flexibility to make the most of the community space.

Spread the word, bring a mate, and let’s keep the place buzzing 🔨🪵
