We wanted to pause and express our deepest gratitude to the incredible community of Parramatta.

Your continued support, kindness, and unity are what make this place so special. Time and again, we have seen people come together with humility, love, and warmth, lifting one another up and ensuring no one is left behind, especially during times that matter most.

We would like to give special thanks to the many members and volunteers of our club, who have given so tirelessly in aid of those less fortunate. You gave your time, your energy, and your hearts without once thinking of yourselves, always focused on those who needed us the most.

Your compassion and selflessness truly embody the spirit of Christmas in every project and event we undertake. It is just like Christmas every time we see a smile on a community members face.

As we celebrate this season, our thoughts are with those doing it tough. May this time bring comfort, hope, and reassurance that this community stands beside you.

From our hearts to yours, thank you for being a shining example of what it means to care for one another. Wishing everyone a safe, peaceful, and joyful Christmas.

Christmas is a time for kindness, compassion, and community. Today, we are proud to be hosting the first of three special shows, with over 500 community members attendingthe firat show alone, including those less fortunate and those facing barriers in life.

We do what we do because it’s the right thing to do. Creating moments of joy, connection, and inclusion is at the heart of everything we stand for. Seeing smiles, sharing laughter, and knowing that no one is forgotten this Christmas is what truly matters.

Thank you to everyone who makes these events possible and to our community for coming together in the spirit of giving.

We dont beleive there is another service club within the Parramatta LGA that has provided some much continued support, by way of Christmas and July shows for children for the 25 years plus these have and will continue for.

Thanks to St John Ambulance - Parramatta Division for their continued partnership in service.

It's that time of year again where we run the Annual "Lots of Little Project"

Now in its 3rd year, we have seen amazing contributions through our Lions Clubs and beyond over the first two campaigns run.

As we look to brighten the lives of those doing it tougher than expected, please consider donating to a cause that provides so much more than on face value.

Collectively the art of human connection and the hope afforded is priceless.

Thanks in advance for your consideration of those brave women and children who will cherish your kindness.

The Annual "Walk 4 Hope" is the biggest fundraiser on the Huntington's Australia calendar and this year marks 9 consecutive years we have "burnt a banger" and bought many smiles along the way.

Partnerships in service hold greater meaning when we are valued for the small part we play.

Thanks to Harry Singh Maureen Singh Sunil Amaratunga Jon Copson and new member Mohan for their support today.

Today we served with immense pride.

3 x shows for kids and some adults, from all over Sydney. About 1100 kids and families attending.

Many have cognitive or physical disabilities or come from socio-economic situations.

A magic and entertainment show provided some relief from the world in which they live.

Well done to our members along with our partners in service St John Ambulance - Parramatta Division.

Long live the magic within us.

On this day of remembrance, we pay homage and respect to those that have their lives so that can bask in the freedom we have today.

"On the morning of 25 April 1915, the Anzacs set out to capture the Gallipoli peninsula in order to open the Dardanelles to the allied navies. The objective was to capture Constantinople (now Istanbul in Turkey), the capital of the Ottoman Empire, and an ally of Germany.

The Anzacs landed on Gallipoli and met fierce resistance from the Ottoman Turkish defenders. Their plan to knock Turkey out of the war quickly became a stalemate, and the campaign dragged on for eight months.

At the end of 1915, the allied forces were evacuated. Both sides suffered heavy casualties and endured great hardships. Over 8,000 Australian soldiers were killed. News of the landing on Gallipoli and the events that followed had a profound impact on Australians at home. The 25th of April soon became the day on which Australians remember the sacrifice of those who had died in the war.

The Anzacs were courageous and although the Gallipoli campaign failed in its military objectives, the Australian and New Zealand actions during the campaign left us all a powerful legacy."

Members of the Lions Club of Parramatta Inc today came together to help residents and family at the Edenglassie Nursing Home in Penrith celebrate Australia Day. We prepared a BBQ for everyone feeding close to 100. Music and entertainment were also provided. And once the residents were all fed, we cooked some food for the staff. Thanks to all those who helped out. Lots of smiling faces
