Crews from Moysten, Hepburn, Magpie, Eureka, Skipton and Trentham ramped for over two hours and unable to respond in their communities.

Recently, TZV ambulance delegates got together at the VAU for delegate training and to dicuss the key issues ambulance call-takers and dispatchers are dealing.

Areas covered included potential changesto the Clinical Response Model/Active Queue Management, technology changes including Rural MDTs and information sharing, VAU win on staff access to People and Performance reports, TZV recruitment processes (external and internal), staff attrition/turnover, transparency on internal recruitment, EA Commitments, Annual Leave Review and the 80/20 Career Break (aka Transition to Retirement), HSR elections/DWGs, occupational violence and abuse against TZV staff, welfare, and incident reporting.

Ambulance call-takers and dispatchers are lucky to have a team of dedicated and passionate delegates who are focused on improving working conditions for their workmates.
