We're looking for community members to help plan and deliver the Queensberry Cup 2026 – North Melbourne's much-loved Billy Cart Race & Street Party.
This is a fantastic opportunity to meet new people, make a real impact, and help shape one of North Melbourne's biggest community events. As an event volunteer, you could get involved in:

🎭 ALWAYS WANTED TO TRY ACTING?

Now's your chance.

Our beginner-friendly Introduction to Acting course starts Thursday, 25 June in North Melbourne, and there are still a few places available.

Over 5 weeks, experienced director and teacher Richard Sarell will introduce you to simple techniques used by actors to connect with audiences, build confidence, and perform naturally on stage or screen.

Whether you're curious about acting, looking for a creative outlet, or considering performing more seriously, this course is designed for complete beginners.

Join us for Introduction to Artificial Intelligence, a course designed for anyone who wants to better understand the technology shaping the world around us.

We’ll explore:
🤖 How AI is used in social media, search engines, photos, and email
📰 Ways to recognise AI-generated content online
💬 The social and ethical questions AI raises for our communities
📚 Perspectives on AI from science fiction, philosophy, and current events

Led by Anastasia Beasley, this course encourages conversation, shared learning, and thoughtful discussion in a supportive community environment. No technical background needed.
