Reminder about our August Members Meeting

Join us this month for our members’ meeting with Crafted Hardwoods.

You already know what good timber can do in the right hands, but have you ever wondered what happens to timber that gets graded out on the mill floor, before it’s had a fair shot at anything else?

Crafted Hardwoods has built a business around exactly that timber, turning overlooked, lower-grade resources into solid engineered hardwood, made right here using a process no one else in Australia is running.

On Sunday 23rd August, Darren Minto from Crafted Hardwoods joins us for a hands-on look at how the material is made and what it can do, alongside Jem Selig Freeman of Jem Selig Freeman whose KittaParts shelving system now runs on Crafted Hardwoods’ Blackbutt dowels.

It’s a good one for anyone curious about where timber’s heading, and what’s possible when you rethink where your material comes from.

Meeting Details:
Date: Sunday 23rd August
Time: 1-3pm - Presentation and Q&A.
Location: VWA Wood Design Centre, 5 Tyrone Street, North Melbourne.

Follow our link in bio to RSVP.
Looking forward to seeing you then!
