PRIME Community Band

PRIME Community Band Community Concert Band based at Strathpine. Please send us an email for more info. The band plays approx. Level 3 Band Music.

Community Concert Band meeting on Thursday nights from 7:30-9:30pm at Strathpine. The band was originally an Adult Starter Band with some original foundation members still attending. The Band plays mostly popular music including Musicals, Pop songs, with some serious music thrown in.

We are pleased to advise that PRIME Community Band was successful in receiving funds from City of Moreton Bay by way of a Local Community Support Grant to purchase 8 new pieces of music. These were Best of the West, Time Warp, Send in the Clowns, New York New York, (Ghost) Riders in the Sky, W***y Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Final Countdown and Tijuana Brass.

These music scores will feature during our performances in 2026 for the benefit of our local community. We are grateful for the support given by City of Moreton Bay to local community groups such as PRIME Community Band.

Welcome to 2026 and our new addition to PRIME Community Band. A Yamaha Bass Drum to provide that extra oomph to our performances. This was mostly funded by a grant provided by City of Moreton Bay. Thank you for their continued support of local community groups. We look forward to continuing our free performances for the Moreton Bay community in 2026.
