PRIME Community Band

PRIME Community Band Community Concert Band based at Strathpine. Please send us an email for more info. The band plays approx. Level 3 Band Music.

Community Concert Band meeting on Thursday nights from 7:30-9:30pm at Strathpine. The band was originally an Adult Starter Band with some original foundation members still attending. The Band plays mostly popular music including Musicals, Pop songs, with some serious music thrown in.

No being quiet in North Lakes Library as PRIME participated in Make Music Month arranged by City of Moreton Bay. This event was a huge success with PRIME Community Band performing "At the Movies with PRIME" on Saturday 27th June 2026. Thanks to all the audience that attended and participated in the sing along parts. Here is a snippet of Sweet Caroline (which was in the recent movie, Song Sung Blue). Thanks to City of Moreton Bay for enabling local community groups such as PRIME to share our music with the local community.

TODAY is the Day. Come on down to North Lakes Library (inside near the grand piano) for a FREE Concert - At the Movie With PRIME Community Band. Hits include Star Wars, Pirates of the Caribbean, Defying Gravity, Man From Snowy River. Starts at 11am. Look forward to seeing you there.

At the Movies with PRIME. Entertainment for the residents at Peninsula Gardens Retirement Village. Hits included Star Wars, Defying Gravity, Pirates at World's End, Eye of the Tiger, Time Warp and Moon River with the residents joining in for Sweet Caroline at the end. This followed with a great afternoon tea and chat with the residents after the show.
