We have had an overwhelming number of requests for assistance this Christmas with over 1500 hampers already assigned. So to ensure those who need help with a Christmas Hamper this year to get their hamper request in on time, we have included the link below to complete an expression of interest. We will be closing the request form on December 12th @ 11pm. Any requests after this may not be able to receive a hamper this year.

Christmas Hampers are filled with approx. one weeks’ worth of groceries + Christmas treats to help relieve the financial burden that Christmas can become.

Did you know that over 50% of our local uni community are suffering from food insecurity with a high percentage of that number being severely food insecure. Many students have reported having to choose between paying rent or buying food because they cannot afford both. Gateway Life works in partnership with the TUSA Food Hub & Student Accommodation Services by supporting UTAS students in the community by offering subsidised, healthy cooked meals for them to purchase. Why not help us reach those who need a helping hand by making a donation towards our FreshStart program. All donations over $2 are Tax deductible & you can use the reference FRESH START.
