🎄 CHRISTMAS ISN’T FUN FOR EVERYONE

For some families across Hobart, Christmas can be a season of real financial pressure and uncertainty. That’s why RiverCity Church Hobart and Gateway Life Solutions are partnering again to bring practical help and hope to families in our community.

Last Christmas, we received requests for more than 1,500 Christmas food hampers from families across Hobart and beyond. This year, we expect that need to increase.

We don’t want anyone to face Christmas without the basics, but we can’t do it alone. We need your help. ❤️

EXCITING NEWS: A generous sponsor will match Christmas Hamper donations up to $50,000!! This means every single dollar donated will be doubled up to 50k 🙌🔥

Please consider partnering with us & Gateway Life Solutions to bring some joy to those in need this Christmas 🎄🎁

Thank you so much to our very generous sponsors & volunteers for making this possible every year 🫶

Did you know that over 50% of our local uni community are suffering from food insecurity with a high percentage of that number being severely food insecure. Many students have reported having to choose between paying rent or buying food because they cannot afford both. Gateway Life works in partnership with the TUSA Food Hub & Student Accommodation Services by supporting UTAS students in the community by offering subsidised, healthy cooked meals for them to purchase. Why not help us reach those who need a helping hand by making a donation towards our FreshStart program. All donations over $2 are Tax deductible & you can use the reference FRESH START.
