Thank you for our August-23 interest in Clann and registrations on the platform.

We are planning to run a new induction program when we have enough registered people to make a Class. We will announce this here on our page and email all who have registered. Alchemy and Clann Sponsored places are still available for the first 20 to register on the platform.

Today we're highlighting Clann, another treasured SENVIC member 🤗

Clann Australia is a social enterprise that supports families that still rely on friends, neighbours, extended family, work colleagues and others to help provide informal care for children, elderly and family members with a disability.

They work to up-skill carers to explore creating their own small business and provide a higher standard of informal care to other families in their communities in home based settings.

Learning Through Play

Asking children to tidy up after themselves gives them discipline, skills, and a sense of responsibility and pride.

Children develop an appreciation of aesthetics and an understanding of where everything belongs; packing away, cleaning and resetting provides learning opportunities for cognitive skills such as categorisation, literacy and numeracy skills.

We need to show them how to do things correctly by modeling. Children want to be a part of our world and their community.

These simple tasks urge them to learn principle values and skills that will help them become more independent in life.
