Last Saturday we held the 3rd of our Early to Mid Career Farmer workshops on Pasture Agronomy Insights. From species selection matched to soil tests, what pasture tissue tests can tell you about pasture requirements & how they help balance livestock nutrition. Legume nodulation & what different fertilisers do at different times. How timing can be critical & consistency in testing is important.
Understanding your soil’s & pastures is critical for making decisions to be more prepared for tougher seasons.
