Why is beach access 62 so blue!
While swimming I did a little quick scout along the tide line and found an array of plastics, in particular a regular visitor of blue and green hard plastics. Where does this come from? We explore microplastics in detail and conduct clean ups with schools across the biosphere.
Why not take a little stroll and see what you find and remove while enjoying our beautiful beaches this holiday period.
Send us photos of what you find and happy new year to everyone!

When will we realise that shark nets do nothing more than kill innocent marine creatures. They are just a placebo for the masses and it’s time we all woke up to this fact. Please sign the petition. 🙏🏽 we have had two whale entanglements in the last week on the Sunshine Coast.

Students enjoyed a smoking and ochre ceremony to commence the day, Aboriginal games and dance workshops, Walks on Country with Beverly Hand and Ilana from landcarenoosa and we also collected microplastics of our beaches.
Thanks to David Gookegen Nanangi Peters brother Mark and the wonderful Cassandra! A big thank you to teacher Ms Sandy Page for your ongoing support!
