Despite an on and off widespread shower or two, it was a fantastic turnout of members at our club gathering at the Apollonian Hotel. Great cars, great people and a great atmosphere made it a day to remember.

Each year on ANZAC Day, the Noosa community gathers with quiet respect to honour those who have served, and this year was no exception. The Noosa Beach Classic Car Club was once again proud to take part in the Tewantin parade, supporting our veterans and contributing to a tradition that means so much to so many.

We extend our sincere thanks to all club members who turned out to be part of the car parade along Poinciana Avenue to the Tewantin Cenotaph. Your presence added to the dignity of the occasion. Veterans marched with pride at the head of the procession, followed by local schools and community groups, creating a moving display of unity, respect, and remembrance across generations. It was especially meaningful to see members wearing their ancestors’ medals with pride, alongside those who have earned their own through service. A special mention goes to Peter Quinn, who once again generously coordinated our vehicle participation and ensured everything ran smoothly on the day.

The weather kept everyone guessing, with umbrellas going up and down throughout the morning, but it held kindly enough for the parade and service to be completed with warmth and respect. The release of white doves at the conclusion offered a powerful symbol of peace, remembrance, and hope for the future. It was a fitting end to a meaningful day of reflection and community spirit.
