Future Oceans

Future Oceans The use of Pingers, has the potential to save many of the 500,000 marine mammals that are caught and drown in fishing gear around the world every year.

Future Oceans is widely acknowledged as the world leader in the design and manufacture of marine mammal acoustic alarm devices commonly known as "Pingers". We work with Governments, Universities, researchers, scientists and fishing associations from all corners of the globe in a collaborative effort to reduce the loss of whales, dolphins and porpoises (known as "cetacean bycatch") in the commercial fishing industry.

Our Story

Future Oceans is dedicated to the protection of all marine wildlife. We lead the world in the design and manufacture of acoustic alarms, known as Pingers, which are placed on fishing nets to help reduce the entanglement of whales and dolphins. We work with Governments, Universities, researchers, scientists and fishing associations from all corners of the globe in a collaborative effort to reduce the loss of whales, dolphins and porpoises (known as "cetacean bycatch") in the commercial fishing industry.
