▪ Due to forecast extreme bushfire weather for Tuesday 27 January, Vic Emergency are asking residents to evacuate (leave) bushfire areas covered by warnings in daylight hours on Monday.

• Police and SES will be door knocking in these areas, do not wait as some roads may need to be closed, leaving early is your safest option. Make sure you monitor the Vic Emergency app/website and/or ABC radio for effected areas, evacuation routes, relief centres and further details.

• The weather conditions that are forecast on
Tuesday (27/1) are historically where lives have been lost in bushfires.

• Victoria Police will maintain security patrols in all
the evacuated areas.
