Thanks to a small grant from the NT Govt for seniors month, we were able to run a couple of workshops this week and finish off our last two tables! We now have dining room tables inspired by the Bush Stone curlew and the Shining Fly catcher! Thanks to all those who came along!

We are excited to have been awarded a Seniors Grant to go towards completing the resin tables at Riyala. If you’d like to participate in this activity please email [email protected] as bookings are essential and places are limited.

Dates are as follows:
The Stone Curlew table: 10th August 9:30 am - 12:30 pm.
The Shining Flycatcher table: 11th August 9:30 am - 12:30 pm.

Venue: 255 E Elizabeth Valley Rd Noonamah.

Some assistance with transport may be available, depending on numbers/locations coming from. Contact [email protected] if you need more information .

Morning tea provided. Wear old clothes (resin can get messy!). You only need to choose 1 workshop (this allows for maximum participation!) Everything else provided. You will also get to make your own drink coaster with the resin we mix up on the day. Photos of both birds below for colour inspiration as well as some of the previous tables already completed. We look forward to having you join us!

Thanks to a minor CBF grant from the NT govt, our new mattresses and anti bacterial mattress and pillow covers have all arrived! This Saturday at 9:30 am we are going to start the big job of putting the covers on and swapping everything over! If anyone can come and give us a hand that’d be great!
