A reminder that there is always a spike in crime over the school holidays. Most of these are opportunistic such as checking for unlocked cars and doors.
We have seen a recent increase in activity within Newport. Remember to:
Check your car is secured and no valuables are left inside.
Ensure your garage door closes before you leave your property.
Secure and lock your property doors/windows.
