Geelong Patchwork and Quilters Guild We are a non-profit quilting group based in Geelong, a regional city 70km south of Melbourne, Vic. Help us to get to know you.

Meetings:10:30am to 3:30pm on the 3rd Saturday of each month (unless otherwise advertised) at The Newcomb Hall, Wilson Road, Newcomb. Meeting at 12.45 followed by Show & Tell and a Speaker
Entry fee is $6

Visitors are most welcome including Beginners and those who want to learn. We ask visitors and new members to wear a YELLOW Name Tag available at the entry table. BYO lunch and mug

The GPQG Quilt In fundraising supported Wombat Wish. This organisation provide guidance and support to enable children to manage the impact of the death of a parent. 42 attendees created a 12" square in purple/blue using the theme 'With All My Heart" The created squares will be made into a quilt for Wombat Wish. What a fabulous day today! Tania Tanti was our amazing guest speaker at the GPQG Quilt In. Tania is recognised nationally and internationally for her innovative art quilts. Comments about her talk today were: "best speaker we've ever had" and "she's just amazing."
