It's time to ban aggressive customers who attack and abuse frontline workers.

Retail and fast food workers deserve to feel safe at work. Yet for too many SDA members across Newcastle, the Central Coast and the Hunter Valley, abuse, threats and violence from customers have become part of the job.

That's why we’re calling on the Chris Minns Labor Government to introduce enforceable Workplace Protection Orders, giving businesses the power to ban repeat offenders who put workers at risk.

These protections already exist in other states. Now it’s time for NSW to catch up and take action to protect workers!

✅ The first pay rise arrives in December 2026.
