Once registered, you can print your personal barcode and bring it along each week to record a finish time. You can use the same barcode at any of the 800+ parkrun locations around the World or 165+ across Australia. But remember, no barcode, no result - ie: if you forget to bring a printed copy of your barcode, you can still participate but you will NOT record a finish time against your name. Arrive before 7.50am for a "first-timers" brief and we’ll give you the full “run” down in person. parkrun is totally free, but we ask that you volunteer at least 2-3 times per year.

- Strollers are welcome
- No bikes or scooters (walkers/runners/strollers only)
- Children are encouraged but absolutely must be accompanied by an adult if under 11yo
- Dogs - well behaved, well controlled dogs on a short lead are welcome (one per runner/walker).

Newy parkrun RUN REPORT Event #698
24th October 2026

What a beautiful morning to have a parkrun. Sun, slight breeze, not too hot yet, no rain..... everything that says welcome to Newy!!

This week 638 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 75 were first timers (29 first time parkrunners and 46 first time visitors)
61 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 34 different clubs took part.

The event was made possible by 20 fabulous volunteers:

Wil GARDNER • Oenone WOOD • Daryl BULL • Jody WHITEHEAD • Denise JONES • Vicki STEWART • Bernadette BENNETT • Scott BUTLER • Leanne KEPREOTES • Deborah ALTERATOR • Chris KEPREOTES • Andrew WALKER • Frank KAKKAVOS • Michael ULPH • Maggie LANE • Gabrielle NEWLAND • Simon MOORE • Lincoln DEWAR • Zol NAGY • Stanley HUNTER

Results have been processed - there was a slight glitch that needed remediation and our volunteers have spent time doing so, if your finish token does not match exactly your finish position in the results it will be a post-parkrun processing change to make everything match / synch once the errors were fixed.
