Hard working people coming into the city on Hunter Street, have bought off the plan to look at the unexpected. A big surprise will be the "backside" of 10 Dangar / Hannell Street. This process is fast tracked by NSW Gov. & departs from Newcastle planning. Sad for those taking up residency.

North facing apartments are neighbouring the proposed building of 43 storey. It is to be presented to NSW Government.
This proposal is State Significant - at 10 Dangar on Hannell Street, 12 metres from Newcastle Quays and heritage.
Is this excessive Density, damaging Newcastle Town Planning. Local planning Instruments disregarded.

Dairy Farmers corner pay about $1million for a 2 bedder apartments. North Outlook is 43 storeys ie proposed 10 Dangar Street. That's NSW gov dropping local planning for fast track State Significant.

Update. State Significant Building 43 storey, on Hannell Street, it does not follow Newcastle Council Planning. All of us have helped align for a healthy balanced Peninsula city. Novacastrians have rebuilt this city after BHP left town, after an earthquake. Newcastle's planning Instruments have been our effort, by all of us engaging. This 43 storey proposal imposes on the cohesive character, good planning work by people of this city and region. " Have your say "on NSW planning portal, by 12th June. As everything changes we can continue to improve NSW govs direction.

The deadline is 8 days.
* Is there Water pressure in Newcastle for the 43 Storeys
* Communal living and kitchen is outlined without a satisfatory management standard for the shared living.
* Who will carry the aged and disabled down the fire stairs in critical incident.
* no infrastructure is to be built.
* segregated entries for the various, specified housing.
* traffic movements on Hunter, Stewart Av. Wharf, Hannell are not within scope of this density, ie congestion and disruption to the main Artery of Hunter Region.
* Solar impact on other highrise is to be considered. If energy is an issue in Highrise living of the immediate site
* How many fire trucks are available, how long will it burn, waiting waiting, waiting for help for help? ...................................................

10 Dangar 43 Storey level is not safe when it comes to managing fire or other critical incidents. Newcastle Hannell St. Stewart Av. & Wharf Rd will experience impact with any critical incident.
