If you've been to one of our luncheons, you've likely had the pleasure of meeting our iconic and much-loved committee member, Barbara Lane.

Barb has been instrumental in driving the LMWIBN, ensuring it continues to support, connect and inspire women in business. Passionate about the success of small to medium enterprises, Barb brings a wealth of experience across government contracts, business management, advisory services, project management, training and assessment.

Barb's career is marked by a number of standout achievements, including becoming the first female Business Manager of the Botanic Gardens in the South Pacific, serving as Director of Port Stephens Tourism and Skillshare Port Stephens, and developing the Job Ready Program - later adopted across NSW by the Department of Employment. Her current role at Zeal Futures centres on empowering business owners with the tools, knowledge and confidence to grow, including initiating the Government-funded Small Business Accelerator workshop series.

Swansea Meals on Wheels support community members who may no longer be able to prepare meals for themselves. Their goal is to help people remain living independently in the comfort of their own homes while maintaining their dignity, wellbeing, and quality of life. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, volunteers prepare and deliver meals to more than 100 local people.
