Last night we had our Welcome to Choir Service for 2026!

We heard about the upcoming year, commissioned our 2026 Leadership Team, and joined together in worship. A fantastic start to what will be an amazing year! ❤️

Calling All Waratah Girls Choir Alumni - The Waratah Ensemble is Returning!

After a few quiet years, we’re bringing back something special:
the Waratah Ensemble - our alumni choir - and we’d love to know if you’d like to be part of it.

This refreshed version of the ensemble will be warm, welcoming, and musically rewarding, without the pressure of a weekly commitment. Think: beautiful music, great company, and a chance to reconnect with the Waratah sound you helped shape.

The plan (flexible based on interest):
* Monday evenings, 6–8pm
* Either fortnightly OR 6‑week blocks each school term
* Female voices (alumni only)
* Approx. $60 per term to cover venue, music, admin, and support WGC fundraising
* Rehearsal style: Learn your parts independently; we come together for focused, high‑quality ensemble rehearsals under direction.

Whether you haven’t sung in years or you’re performing regularly, this is a space to reconnect, make music, and be part of the WGC community again.

Open to young women age 8-30yrs! No singing or previous choral experience required! We are a non-auditioned choir with a passion for music, community and developing young women of integrity and character. We meet Monday evenings during the school term. We’re helping spread joy this Christmas by partnering with the Gifts of Hope program at Hope Unlimited Church. Throughout November, our choristers have been collecting toys that will be wrapped and delivered to families in our community who’ve had a challenging year—reminding them that they are seen, loved, and not forgotten.
