Donate, volunteer, make a difference! 🤝

The Hunter Breast Cancer Foundation is a locally-rooted, independent charity, proudly funded by our generous Hunter community. Run by a dedicated volunteer board and a small team, we operate independently, ensuring that every dollar we raise stays right here in the region. Our mission is to provide essential supportive care services for individuals and families facing breast cancer. We offer a ran

ge of services, including patient transport, lawn and garden care, cleaning, survivorship programs, prosthesis assistance, comfort cushions, and more. By supporting us, you're making a meaningful impact on the lives of those dealing with breast cancer in the Hunter region. Join us in our mission to make a difference - donate, volunteer, and be a part of our supportive community. 💕🤝

Today is International Charity Day đź©·

This is what community looks like.

Every event, every fundraiser, every volunteer, every sponsor and every person who shows up helps make a difference for local people and families affected by breast cancer.

These moments are a reminder that when our community comes together, we can create real impact. Whether you've attended an event, donated, volunteered, fundraised or simply shared our mission, thank you for being part of it.

Together, we're helping ensure no one in our community has to face breast cancer alone.

When you’re going through breast cancer, everyday tasks can feel like a lot.

That’s why we provide practical support, including professional house cleaning, to help families take some of the pressure off and focus on their health and wellbeing.

Because having a little extra support can make a big difference.

Thank you to Orica for supporting our Cleaning Program!

We’re incredibly proud to be named a finalist for the Industry Impact Award at the Newcastle Business Club Awards.

This award recognises organisations making a meaningful contribution to our region and supporting the development of future business leaders. We’re honoured to have the work of HBCF and our wider community recognised in this way.

A huge thank you to our team, volunteers, supporters and partners who help us create a lasting impact across the Hunter.

This year marks 27 years of community, care and changing lives 💗✨

For 27 years, Hunter Breast Cancer Foundation has been supporting local families through one of life’s toughest journeys.

What began as a simple belief, that no one should face breast cancer alone, has grown into a community-powered organisation providing practical support, education scholarships, transport to treatment and so much more.

Every service we provide is made possible by the generosity of our incredible community. Thank you to every volunteer, supporter, sponsor, donor and community member who has been part of our journey over the past 27 years. Here's to continuing to make a difference together. đź’•

How has it already been 5 weeks since our Pink Race Day???

Looking back on a day that was truly one for the books, our biggest Pink Race Day fundraiser to date!

From the sea of pink filling Newcastle Racecourse, to the incredible generosity, laughter, support and stories shared throughout the day, we’re still feeling so grateful for everyone who came together to make it so special.

Every ticket purchased, donation made, sponsor supported and volunteer hour given helps us continue providing vital support services to people in our community living with breast cancer.

Thank you to everyone who helped make Pink Race Day 2026 our biggest and brightest yet đź’•
