We are proud to support our veterans, first responders, and current ADF members through the power of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. This scholarship program is proudly sponsored by Harbour Combat Sports and delivered by our supporting jiu-jitsu gym partners. It provides access to training, connection, and a positive outlet for both physical and mental resilience. Jiu-jitsu offers more than fitness—it builds community, confidence, and a pathway for healing. A lone dude from in gear feeling welcome in a sea of ! What a privilege it was to speak to you all.

Saturday was very special. We partnered with on a fundraising event that saw upwards of 50 humans and one giant come together on the central coast to raise funds for our program and have a lot of friendly fun in the process. Just over an hour and a half later and the participants had raised enough to onboard one participant fully onto our program for 12 months and supply all their equipment to fast track the journey!

We’d like to thank everyone who came along from Iconic and afar and for the extremely generous extra donations outside the cover charge that boosted the total amount to that level. Thanks also for the support in promotion of the event by and the individuals who pushed our socials. Hopefully we will have an event in Newcastle again soon and keep your eyes peeled for our new website that will make signing up to join the program infinitely easier!!!

Iconic x Guerrilla Newcastle 🥋

We will be putting a crew together from to head down to Iconic on 10MAY for an open mat with a note donation buy in for Harbour Combat Sports!

has enthusiastically deemed the open mat that day to be in support of HCS and our mission and we hope to see you all there. All are invited to attend so we would love to see some other gyms getting involved and supporting our work!
