πŸ’πŸ«‚ Learn about Communication and Dementia with Ros Calvert πŸ’πŸ«‚

We understand it can be challenging to communicate with people living with dementia, especially loved ones. Our colleagues at Corumbene's residential faclity recognise this and that it affect our whole community. This is why they are welcoming back Ros Calvert, who has previously worked with Dementia Tasmania, to guest speak with relatives, residents, and anyone to learn about more ways to converse with those living with dementia.

Ros will be speaking at Corumbene on Wednesday, 10 June at 11am in our Multi-Purpose Room. Feel like coming to this event? Everyone is welcome! Please RSVP by calling Reception at 03 6261 2744.

Congrats to Ash Cottage , Ouse for becoming a Neighbourhood House! This is an extremely important development for our community living in the and we're excited to see what comes from all the hard work collaborating with HATCH - Health Action Team Central Highlands to provide funding for a much needed area.

ASH COTTAGE TO BECOME A NEIGHBOURHOOD HOUSE
Exciting news for HATCH and the Central Highlands. Minister Madeleine Ogilvie announced today at the West Moonah Neighbourhood House that the state budget will include funding for Ash Cottage Ouse to become a Neighbourhood House. This will provide much needed ongoing funding for our community.
HATCH have worked hard for this outcome and look forward to an exciting future as part of the Neighbourhood House Network. We thank all the people that have supported this initiative.πŸ˜€
