Tomorrow (Friday) is Food Hub day in the Derwent Valley and our amazing volunteers have filled the shelves, fridge and freezers waiting for you to empty them 💚
Don't forget our coat drive where you can bring in your coats, or if you are needing a coat to keep you warm, come and grab one .... they are FREE!!!

Today we celebrate 2 years of Your Community Food Hub serving and supporting our community ❤️

We want to say a huge THANK YOU to all our past and present volunteers who have helped make this possible. From setting up shelves, collecting food, serving customers, cleaning, packing, sorting, encouraging others, and simply showing kindness — every contribution has made a difference.

Because of your generosity, care, and willingness to serve, thousands of people and families in our community have been supported with affordable food, free items, connection, and hope during difficult times.

This Food Hub is more than just food — it’s people helping people, building community, and showing compassion in practical ways.

Thank you for being part of the journey over the past 2 years. We are so grateful for each and every one of you and look forward to continuing to support the community together ❤️

Come and visit Your Community Food Hub this Friday (tomorrow) from 9:00am – 4:00pm at 19 Circle Street, New Norfolk.

We have plenty of low cost groceries and free items available to support the community, including:
• Lots of pre-made meals
• Fresh fruit and vegetables
• Bakery items
• Frozen foods
• Pantry essentials

No memberships or concessions needed — everyone is welcome.

As a not-for-profit community initiative, we are here to help make food more affordable while supporting families and individuals through rising living costs. ❤️
