Historically the name 'Neutral Bay' arose from foreign man-of-war ships being required to berth in a “Neutral Harbour” away from Circular Quay in the early days of the colony, as the English Settlement under Captain Arthur Phillip wasn’t sure whether they were at war with the country of Origin of these ships or not. Business Wise, Neutral Bay has 450 businesses, 250 Retail and 200 Commercial withi

n its bounds. As a Retail Suburb, Neutral Bay is a bustling retail destination known for its elegant fashion boutiques, fine food, speciality shops, as well as chic cafes, legendary wine bars and the infamous Oaks Hotel. Neutral Bay is a treasure trove of food (44 restaurants, 22 Cafes and numerous take-away shops). These elements give Neutral Bay a chic cosmopolitan, pot-pourri retail feel. Mosman Chamber is hosting an event on 16 March as part of NSW Small Business Month. The aim of the event is to help businesses by providing them with a day of expert advice on how to reinvigorate and grow their business in 2022 - to 'Rebuild, Recharge, Renew' after a tough couple of years. A fantastic line-up of speakers will cover topics including Finance, Branding, Digital, Sustainability, Health & Govt Support. Lunch provided and the opportunity to network. Tickets are just $25.
