Congratulations WET Systems, one of EcoNetwork’s business affiliates’ work is featured in Gardening Australia. WET Systems developed and installed floating wetlands in Melbourne’s Yarra River. Gardening Australia is featuring innovative urban greening solutions ~ watch the show or catch the wetlands section at 39mins into the 47min episode. Enjoy!

Costa and Josh explore innovative urban greening projects that are helping to make our cities more liveable, Hannah visits a bar that's draped in greenery, and Tammy tours a display garden full of tough but beautiful plants.

On Tuesday 13 October at 12:30pm NCC are hosting a free webinar where you will learn the details of a Healthy Homes Plan, how it helps fight climate change while also preparing our homes to better adapt to more extreme weather that we’re increasingly seeing. You will also hear about how much you can save on your energy bill (up to 50%!) in a more efficient home, and why it’s so important that renters are supported to also unlock these savings.

So important not to loose green spaces for housing. As we densify, infill, build larger homes and multiple dwellings on current house blocks, every green space becomes more important for our health, our climate and our environment which all feed our liveability.

Union body says workers should not have to choose between green spaces and housing supply.

Caring for koalas is about more than protecting a species, it’s about understanding their connection to Country, their importance to Aboriginal culture, and the role communities play in caring for their habitat.

Find out more at our Koala Cultural Immersion workshop next Friday 24th September at the Miromaa Language and Technology Centre, Boolaroo.

This workshop is for Landcare volunteers and Landcarer property-owners to connect to Aboriginal community and knowledge in the Hunter, so we can work together on koala conservation initiatives. It's funded by the NSW Government's Landcare Enabling Program - Aboriginal Partnerships grant:
