Indigo has a Sensit Chair available to try at our Experience Centre!

The Sensit Chair is a sensory-stimulating chair that wraps around the user and feels like a weighted blanket, or a hug, as well as supporting position and posture. It's designed for anyone with sensory needs, including neurodivergent individuals, but can also be used by wheelchair users or those who need support positioning.

If you are wanting to try out our Sensit Chair, give us a call on 08 9381 0600 to make an appointment to visit our Experience Centre.

We’re proud to support our sister company iLA in celebrating the first ever National Healthy Ageing Day, bringing people, services, and communities together to support healthier, more connected ageing for all Australians.

This year’s theme, “Keep doing what matters,” is a reminder that healthy ageing begins with the small choices we make every day. Whether it’s taking a short walk, reconnecting with someone, trying a new activity, or learning a new skill, every action is a step towards long-term wellbeing.

And that's a wrap on our Experience Centre Open Days!

We hosted our third and final open day last week, and it was our busiest yet. We were excited to have so many members of the public come and explore our display floor and our range of AT, and received some great feedback on our informative and friendly allied health staff, and the variety of equipment available to try.

Thank you to everyone who came to our Open Days, and if you want to come and try out our AT and speak to our staff, you can give us a call on 08 9381 0600.

Did you know?

Indigo has an Alinker available to try at our Experience Centre (and you may have seen it at some of our Expos as well).

The Alinker is a non-motorised walking bike that allows users to move around independently. Unlike a traditional walker, the Alinker looks and feels like a bike, helping users feel more comfortable getting out and about, while supporting their mobility and stamina.

Even Hollywood actress Selma Blair uses an Alinker, and said that it changed her life!

If you are wanting to try out our Alinker, give us a call on 08 9381 0600 to make an appointment to visit our Experience Centre.

Last week, we hosted our first Open Day, and it was very exciting to open our doors and the Experience Centre for everyone to explore.

We had a number of visitors, from support workers and allied health professionals, to members of the community looking to learn more about assistive tech.

"There's a great range of products for people to try out," one visitor shared, "...and I loved seeing all of the lower cost options available."

Our friendly staff also had a fantastic time helping visitors to interact and learn more about our range of AT.

If you missed out on February's Open Day, there's more opportunities to come and explore on the 19th of March, and 15th of April. Go learn more on our website at https://www.indigo.org.au/training-events/
