šŸ‘ŒDetails make a big difference, especially when it comes to hoist installation.

Yesterday, we teamed up with Unicare Health Australia for an informative session on ceiling hoist installation in SDA homes.

They covered practical considerations, installation requirements and the importance of getting it right from the outset.

Thanks to everyone who joined us!

Every story is different.

There is no one size fits all in SDA housing, that’s why every conversation counts.

We take every opportunity to meet with Participants, their family and supports, to find out what’s important when it comes to finding the right home.

Our tenancy teams have been doing just that at the expos in Adelaide and Perth.

Connecting people with the right home is our specialty. (Besides designing award winning homes šŸ˜‰).

We’d love to hear your story.

If you’re looking for a home that’s right for you, get in touch - or visit us at our next event! šŸ‘Œ SEE OUR WEBSITE EVENTS PAGE!

The slab at our new SDA site in Butler WA was recently poured, and construction is officially underway.

The concrete is barely dry, but there’s plenty to get excited about.

šŸŽ‰Did you know this is Sana Living’s 75th slab pour?! šŸŽŠ

This property will be a 3-bedroom SDA home with OOA due for completion late 2027.

From Perth to New Zealand : Next stop FINLAND! šŸ‡«šŸ‡®

Sana Living is proud to support SDA tenant and Participant, Mark Blowers, as he prepares to represent Australia at the World Wheelchair Curling Championships in Finland this November.

The team has just spent a week in New Zealand where they trained on ā€˜curling ice’ different to skating ice.

Mark has made history as a member of Australia’s first-ever national wheelchair curling team, a fantastic achievement and a milestone for inclusive sport in Australia.

His dedication, determination and passion for the sport have taken him all the way to the world stage, and we’re honoured to be behind him on the journey.

Go Mark! šŸ‡¦šŸ‡ŗšŸ’™ We’ll be cheering you on!

šŸ‘‰ Sharing this from ByStorm

😐 It seems strange that nobody has thought about accessible beauty and the challenges that people living with disability face, doing something as everyday as putting on makeup.

😃 ByStorm Beauty has changed that for people all around the world and we are thrilled to be showcasing the tools she created at an event in Adelaide this month!

šŸ’„ If you are an OT, other Allied Health Professional or Support Coordinator - or based in Adelaide and living with a disability that makes applying makeup a challenge - this event is for you.

šŸ™Œ You can also get points towards your CPD. Click here to register.

šŸ“¢ GOOD TO KNOW: Claiming across funding periods…

āš ļø Important: Funding must be spent within your current plan. Unused funding will not roll over to a new plan.
If you self-manage your NDIS funding, it’s a good idea to submit a claim as soon as possible after you receive a NDIS support.

Support needs can change over time, which means they might not always align with funding periods in your plan.
If there’s enough funding within the same plan, you and your providers can now agree to claim in the next funding period.

āœ… You can do this if:
• You have enough total funding in your plan
• Your providers agree to holding their payment until your next funding period.

šŸ“Œ There are a few important things to consider if you want to claim from a future funding period:

• Make sure you submit your claim within the approved claiming period.
• Funding must be spent within the current plan. Unused funding will not roll over to a new plan.

šŸ”— Visit the NDIS website to help decide if this is right for you.
