Welcome to the LAQ team, Mayank! 👋

We’re excited to introduce Mayank Liya, our new Development Officer, who joined us today, Wednesday 14 October.

With a Master of Sport Management from Bond University and experience across major sporting events and AFL Queensland, Mayank brings a passion for helping kids get active and involved in sport. 🏃‍♂️

He’ll support our school holiday clinics, Tiny Tots and Ultimate Athletics programs, while connecting with Clubs, particularly in the South Coast region.

Join us in giving Mayank a warm welcome! 💙

A registration milestone for Granite Belt Little Athletics !

With 72 athletes registered this season, Granite Belt has achieved 9% growth on last season’s registrations!

Congratulations to the Centre’s Committee and volunteers for their hard work and dedication to helping more children get involved in Little Athletics. Well done, Granite Belt! 👏

A little bunch can make a big difference! 💛 From today until 20 October, Coles will contribute 5 cents for every kilogram of Cavendish bananas sold to the 2027 Coles Little Athletics Community Fund, up to $150,000.

Pop some bananas in your trolley on your next Coles shop and help support Little Athletics Centres across Australia!

Our National Coles Banana Photo Competition is now underway!

The three Centres with the most creative photos or videos of their Centre picking up bananas at their local Coles will each win a $250 Coles Gift Card.

Congratulations to the 11 Queensland Centres awarded funding in Round 11 of the Coles Little Athletics Community Fund!

This funding will help our Centres purchase new equipment and resources to support athletes, volunteers and families in their local communities. 👏

Coles Little Athletics Community Fund races past $3 million!🏃‍♀️💨

A huge milestone for grassroots athletics, with more than $3 million now invested in Little Athletics since 2018.

Round 11 has seen 82 Little Athletics Centres share in $285,000 to purchase new equipment and resources for their communities. 🙌

A big shout out to for supporting this year’s Coles Little Athletics Community Fund and helping us continue to provide valuable resources to Little Athletics Centres and volunteers across Australia. 👏

Team up for the HART Regional Relays!

Get ready to represent your Centre, cheer on your teammates and enjoy a day of fun, friendship and Centre pride! 🙌

The HART Regional Relays bring Centres together at local venues, with U7–U17 athletes taking part in track and field relay events. It’s a chance to work together, build team spirit and make memories along the way!
