Nathalia Lions celebrated it's 50th Anniversay at a delicious lunch on Sunday 28th June. The Broken Willow supplied guests with their mouth watering tucker and scrumptious dessert. Special guest speaker Les Harrison spoke about Lions and his memories. Quite a few original Charter Members were present for the celebration, as well as members from other Lions Clubs and community organisations.
Lots of memories, catching up and laughter was had.
There were also a few awards given out to some well deserving members.

Norm Walsh - Chris August Memorial Award
Chris O'Hara - Chris August Memorial Award
Peter Commaduer - Melvin Jones Award
Pat Moore - Melvin Jones Award
Omen Ndlovu - Melvin Jones Award

Thankyou to Broken Willow for having such a wonderful venue for us 😀

What did you get up to on Australia Day weekend?
Our Lions crew were hosting a Rock n Roll weekend at the Numurkah Town Hall.

Rock n Rollers from far and wide danced on in to the hall both Friday and Saturday nights.

Friday evening shoes were groovin' to Melbourne solo artist Bookman, DJ Rocket from Ballarat 🎶

Braving the heat on Saturday 🥵, lots rockers returned to listen to Melbourne based band, Cobr 🎷🪕🥁🎸
Just like previous years, both nights were a hugh success.

All profits from the weekend, including money raised from the raffles over both nights, was donated to Lions 201V6 foundation.

Lions PDG Julie Ballard accepted a donation of $3500 on behalf of V6 foundation. The money raised will be going to those affected by the recent Bushfires in the V6 district.

Well done to all the members and helpers on the night 🦁 😀
