🏕️🐴 WELLINGTON HORSE & PONY CLUB 2026 CAMP Entires 🐴🏕️

WPC could not be more excited for Camp 2026! After phenomenal growth making us the largest club in Zone 3, we’re aiming to fill camp to capacity this year — so spread the word, tag your pony club friends, and share away! 🙌

📅 Dates: Saturday 4th July – Tuesday 7th July 2026
📍 Location: Geurie Racecourse & Showground
💲 Camp Fee: $200 per rider

🍽️ Rider meals are INCLUDED in camp fees this year thanks to local caterer JÈS BIEN FOOD!
Adult meal tickets are available for $140 for the full camp or $35 per day on request. Families are also welcome to self-cater.

🐎 IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
• ONE horse per rider
• Riders must be current Pony Club riding members
• ALL riders must participate in scheduled activities
• Dogs are NOT permitted on camp grounds
• Parents/guardians are required to remain on grounds during camp
• Adults are NOT permitted to ride unless approved by the Camp Commandant/Chief Instructor
• Gear checks will occur daily and Pony Club approved helmets are compulsory

📣 We’re Hiring | Events Convenor

Pony Club NSW is seeking an experienced and organised Events Convenor to help plan, coordinate and deliver our State events and championships across New South Wales.

This is a part-time, work-from-home role of approximately 20 hours per week, with travel to State events as required.

The successful applicant will work closely with the Executive Committee, discipline committees, hosting Zones, officials, volunteers and the Marketing Manager to help deliver safe, professional and well-run events for our riders, families and members.

💼 Position: Events Convenor
📍 Location for travel: Sydney, NSW / Remote
⏰ Hours: Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week

This role would suit someone with strong event coordination skills, excellent organisation, clear communication and an understanding of sporting, equestrian or volunteer-led environments.

Zone 4 is hosting a State Instructors School on the 30th & 31st May at Rawsonville Pony Club grounds.

Saturday is a practical day this is for every instructor that needs to update for their accreditation and also for those who still need to roll over from the old system.

All new instructors are welcome especially if you would like to do your bronze level.

Sunday is the bronze level assessment day for those who are ready to be assessed. There are limited spots so please contact Fiona Pennell if you wish to be assessed.

Registration for the instructors school is on justgo under Zone 4 State Instructors School and Assessment Day.
