What an incredible NAIDOC Day at the Narrandera Showground! 🖤💛❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped make today such a fantastic celebration of culture, community and connection.

It was amazing to see so many smiling faces enjoying everything on offer, from getting glammed up with shellac nails, browsing our deadly market stalls, creating beautiful artwork, and taking part in our handprint canvas, to the kids having an absolute ball with musical chairs and dance battles. The laughter and excitement throughout the day made it one to remember.

The food was absolutely delicious, and it was wonderful seeing families, Elders and community members coming together to celebrate NAIDOC Week in such a positive atmosphere.

A massive thank you to all of our volunteers, stallholders, performers, activity coordinators and everyone who contributed their time and effort behind the scenes. Events like this wouldn’t be possible without you.

Most importantly, thank you to every single person who came along to celebrate with us. Your support, smiles and community spirit are what make days like today so special.

Happy NAIDOC Week! Let’s continue to celebrate, honour and share our cultures, stories and communities, not just this week, but every day. 🖤💛❤️💙💚

🎨 We’re excited to welcome Elli from Miimi Art to our Narrandera NAIDOC Day Celebration! 🖤💛❤️

At just 11 years old, Elli has a beautiful passion for culture and uses her artwork to share stories and celebrate her heritage. We are incredibly proud to support such a talented young Aboriginal artist and can’t wait for the community to see her deadly creations.

Be sure to stop by the Miimi Art stall on the day, say hello to Elli, and support the next generation of talented artists.

Join us as we come together to celebrate NAIDOC Week and honour the strength, resilience and culture of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

🔥 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – TUESDAY BBQ 🔥

We’re looking for a helping hand to help cook a BBQ every Tuesday afternoon so we can get our
Touch game back up and running 🙌

If you can spare a bit of time to help cook, serve, or even just lend a hand, it would be hugely appreciated. Many hands make light work, and it’s a great way to support the community and be part of getting Touch happening again.
