Kingstyn was awarded the Kylie Shepherd Memorial Award following our 2026 Eisteddfod. Well done!

🌟 Congratulations Kingstyn! 🌟

I am incredibly proud to share that Kingstyn has been awarded the Kylie Shepherd Memorial Award by the Narrabri Arts Eisteddfod Committee. 🏆✨

This award recognises a performer who demonstrates dedication, commitment, enthusiasm and a genuine love of the performing arts.

Kingstyn’s hard work, determination and passion for dance have shone throughout the year, and this recognition is a testament to the effort she puts into every class, rehearsal and performance. Her willingness to learn, positive attitude and love for being on stage make her a wonderful role model within our dance family.

What makes this achievement even more special for our IMDS family is the history behind it. Over the years, this award has also been presented to myself, Amara, Annie, Miss Makenzie and Miss Xanthe, making Kingstyn the latest recipient from our dance family to be honoured with this wonderful recognition. To see another generation of dancers carrying on this tradition is something I am incredibly proud of.

Congratulations, Kingstyn. This award is so well deserved, and I can’t wait to see where your dance journey takes you next. 💛🤍🖤

Last night we wrapped up the Dance Section of the Narrabri Arts Eisteddfod for another year.

We were absolutely blown away by the talent on display across the event, but even more so by the courage, confidence and determination shown by every performer who stepped onto the stage! ✨

Thank you to everyone who performed, supported, volunteered and attended throughout the event. We hope you enjoyed being part of this year’s Eisteddfod as much as we did.

We wish all of our performers the very best and hope to see you all back again next year! 🤩
