OBJECTS OF ASSOCIATION
The ‘Association’ known as Nambucca Heads Surf Life Saving Club, is a charitable community service-based institution. The objects for which the Association is established are available to read from the Nambucca Heads SLSC Constitution

To minimize the loss of life from downing by providing efficient Life Saving apparatus. To promote demonstration and arrange classes of instruction and to further the best interest of Surf Life Saving. To appoint patrols to render all possible aid to those in distress. To organize and conduct carnivals and social functions for the benefit and assistance of the club attainment of the above objectives. To exercise the power to acquire, lease or hire or in anyway deal with any real or personal estate. To carry out any other activity whatsoever, calculated directly or indirectly to enhance or further interests of the club. To co-operate with the local Government authorities in taking such measures as are considered necessary by the Club to ensure safety of the public. To enforce observance of the Rules, By Laws and Regulations of the Club and associated bodies and deal with any infringement of the same. To provide conveniences for Club Members and obtain the best Facilities for the Public by acquiring and improving any necessary for carrying out the said objects of the Club.
