OBJECTS OF ASSOCIATION
The ‘Association’ known as Nambucca Heads Surf Life Saving Club, is a charitable community service-based institution. The objects for which the Association is established are available to read from the Nambucca Heads SLSC Constitution

The Study and practice of the methods of Surf Life Saving as taught by the Surf Life Saving Association of Austr

To minimize the loss of life from downing by providing efficient Life Saving apparatus. To promote demonstration and arrange classes of instruction and to further the best interest of Surf Life Saving. To appoint patrols to render all possible aid to those in distress. To organize and conduct carnivals and social functions for the benefit and assistance of the club attainment of the above objectives. To exercise the power to acquire, lease or hire or in anyway deal with any real or personal estate. To carry out any other activity whatsoever, calculated directly or indirectly to enhance or further interests of the club. To co-operate with the local Government authorities in taking such measures as are considered necessary by the Club to ensure safety of the public. To enforce observance of the Rules, By Laws and Regulations of the Club and associated bodies and deal with any infringement of the same. To provide conveniences for Club Members and obtain the best Facilities for the Public by acquiring and improving any necessary for carrying out the said objects of the Club.

Congratulations Jeremy Burrows from Nambucca Heads SLSC- North Coast Branch Volunteer of the Year.

At the North Coast Branch awards on Saturday night at Nambucca Heads RSL Jeremy was awarded the 2025/26 Volunteer of the Year Award.

This award recognises the outstanding contributions Jeremy offers to the Nambucca Heads SLSC and community. Not only is Jeremy an active Patrol member and Patrol Captain, he also gives up extra time to be an Age Manager for Nippers, is the NHSLSC President attending branch meetings and committee meetings in Nambucca.

Jeremy this season also took on training and assessing this season, bringing through our largest group for many years to passing their assessments and qualifying 8 x more patrolling members to the club. Jeremy also attends additional training for technology such as UAV pilot training for shark safety drone operations.

Jeremy gives a lot of his time to the community for both the Surf Club and the Nambucca Roosters where he is reserve grade coach and deserves to be recognised for his efforts to ensuring the safe and efficient running of Nambucca Heads SLSC. All this from a family man with a tolerant wife Chloe and 2 young daughters.

Well done on a very well deserved award.

Good luck in Sydney representing our Branch with other Delegates from across NSW.

Issy is off to Sydney for the NSW Junior Lifesaver of the Year camp.
Good luck to Issy from Nambucca and Rueben from Woopi representing the North Coast Branch.

Congratulations on your efforts and it was great to see some junior members after completing their own Run - Swim - Run requirement join in to support other members on the final leg of the run to encourage them to keep going, this shows true teamwork.
Starting this weekend these members will be patrolling through Easter and Anzac Day holidays.

It’s great to see more patrolling members coming through to keep our club strong.

A special thank you to Jeremy Burrows for taking the time to train and prepare these trainer members for their assessments.

This Friday the Nambucca Heads Surf Life Saving Club are the community partner selling raffle and Joker Poker tickets at the Valla Beach Tavern. Please come along and support the Club - and enjoy a $15 steak. Thank you to the Valla Beach Tavern for their ongoing support of local community groups.
