Boomerang Bags Nambour Boomerang Bags is a community initiative making reusable bags out of recycled fabric to help reduce the use of single use plastic bags.

Boomerang Bags is a community initiative working with the goal of reducing the usage of single use plastic bags in the community and also teaching people about the environmental effects plastic has on the environment. Teams of volunteers get together and sew reusable shopping bags from recycled donated fabric. Local businesses take the bags to distribute to customers, the customers use them and reuse them and the cycle goes on!
