In 2024–2025, we had 339 active members participating in Better Together Housing, from a total of 421 women who have joined the program over its lifetime.

These numbers tell a powerful story. Women who connect with Better Together often stay engaged long term, building friendships, confidence and support networks that continue to grow over time.

We are so proud of this community and we are always welcoming new members who would like to be part of it.

When families can’t find housing solutions for ageing parents, the stress can feel overwhelming.

After exhausting every option, Sue was referred to Better Together Housing, a moment that changed everything. Through the program, her mum found a safe, stable home with a compatible housemate, restoring peace of mind not just for her, but for the whole family.

Housing insecurity can happen to anyone, even after a lifetime of independence.

After losing her sister and falling victim to financial fraud, Ane-Marie found herself without the security she had always known. Through Better Together Housing, she connected with the right support and a housemate, rebuilding stability, independence, and hope for the future.

Today, she’s enjoying life again with confidence and dignity.

Every woman. Every visit. Every connection matters. Across the 114 gatherings we held last financial year, we welcomed 684 attendances from women in our community.

Some came often, others just once. But every woman was warmly welcomed. Because support and connection are such an important part of the Better Together Housing program.
