Please support us in supporting children in Uganda!
Our school provides assistance to children from the poorest families in Western Uganda. These children are often in care by aging grandparents, subsistence farmers, orphaned children living within the community. Without the support from the school these children would be in the mines, or child brides. Our school has over 300 boarders providing 24/7 medical care and 3 meals a day.
All donations are tax deductible. Please consider supporting us in our mission.

Work on securing our school with a brick fence is continuing.
This is a costly exercise that can only be done in sections due to limited funds.
Please support us as we aim to bring a safe, secure, healthy and inviting environment for our children to learn. ❤🚌🍎

Exciting News for Our Supporters!
Over the past three years, we have been diligently working to obtain tax deductibility for Lugongwe Christian Community Centre, and we are delighted to announce that we have achieved this goal!
To summarize our journey, we have established a new entity that will focus on fundraising for our educational initiatives in Lugongwe: Poverty Project Uganda. This new organization will operate alongside the Lugongwe Christian Community Centre.
The board remains unchanged.
Our vision and mission continue to be the same.
However, please note that we now have a new bank account, and tax receipts will be issued through Poverty Project Uganda.

As we move forward, we kindly request that all donations for Lugongwe Christian Community Centre, whether for sponsorship or general contributions, be redirected to the new bank account.

As the saying goes "Many hands make light work!"
Some of our students gave a helping hand in building a fence around the school. 😀🪏🪣 What wonderful team work!

Please pray for our students as they sit their end of term exams. 🙏❤
