We had a great Toastmasters Christmas party to finalise the last of our yearly meetings for 2025. We had a number of wonderful guests including Pieta Beggs DTM and Nellie Beggs DTM who both addressed the meeting concerning the importance of building numbers to any club and the requirements to attract new players. Overall the meeting was full of happy chatter and plenty of laughs.

Congratulations to our VPE Barbie Turvey in being the test speaker at the Tamworth Area 1 - speech contest on Sunday 30th November and given two wonderful evaluations from Bob Kirchner and Eric Elsley and over saw by Contest Toastmaster Jono Gaukroger.
Well done again Barbie on your speech - Mercy.

Tonight’s Toastmasters Meeting was another great fun filled meeting. VPE Barbie Turvey awarded Club President Helen Simpson the Golden Gavel for her well constructed discussion in the Educational segment of Moments of Truth. Well done Helen.

Tonight’s Springtime Toastmasters meeting was a colourful success and all our members wore bright coloured shirts for the occasion. The small knickknacks and deserts were a tasty success.

Our next meeting is on October 6 please come and join us at the Workers Club Ron Adam’s Room.
