Girls aren’t waiting for a better world; they are building it!
This International Day of the Girl, we are celebrating the fact that girls are ‘doers’ – people who take action, rather than just think or talk about it.

Girls have the right to a safe, educated, and healthy life. If supported, girls have the potential to change the world both as the empowered girls of today and as tomorrow’s workers, mothers, entrepreneurs, mentors, household heads, and political leaders.

Girls want to be seen not only for the challenges they face, but for the solutions they bring. Yet, too often, their voices go unheard, their actions ignored, their needs and rights pushed aside.

At Guides, girls are seen and heard and they are supported to grow their ‘doing’ superpower, to turn their ideas into reality and make a real impact in their worlds.

Stand with girls and support their leadership.

• Donate to ensure girls are seen, heard and supported.
• Volunteer to empower more girls to find their voice.

In honour of International Women’s Day, we'd like to take a moment to reflect on and appreciate the incredible work of our Leaders across the country and across the globe. Their dedication to empowering girls and championing gender equity is truly inspiring.
Through their unwavering commitment, they provide a safe and supportive environment where girls can grow, learn, and become confident leaders of tomorrow. Their efforts in promoting gender equity ensure that every girl can reach her full potential.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us during 2024. Special thanks to The Chop Shop - Muswellbrook, Denman & Scone for a fantastic deal on the meat for our recent bbq at the markets and to Blackroo Community Indigenous Corporation for the use of their catering van. Your support is very much appreciated. Also, a huge thank you to Zack from Muswellbrook Automotive Services who willingly gave his time to help us out when we had a mechanical problem.
