We mourn the passing of Dr Keith Suter AM, a scholar, mentor, and gentle force for peace.

Keith gave his time, wisdom, and quiet encouragement generously. As Vice Chairman of the Institute for Global Peace and Sustainable Governance, he believed deeply in education as a pathway to peace and took real joy in engaging with young people who cared about the world and its future. He had a rare ability to listen carefully, speak thoughtfully, and bring clarity to complex questions of global affairs.

We will miss his voice, his insight, and his kindness. His legacy lives on in the people he mentored and the values he stood for.

Vale, Dr Keith Suter.

The Institute for Global Peace and Sustainable Governance (IGPSG) proudly hosted the Model Global Parliament at the New South Wales Parliament House last 10th of November 2025.

Twelve teams from schools across New South Wales, countless ideas, spirited debates, and a shared commitment to shaping a more peaceful and sustainable future through diplomacy and dialogue.
We are proud to lead an organisation dedicated to inspiring tomorrowโ€™s leaders today.

Our heartfelt thanks to our event sponsor Matt Cross, MP, our guest speaker Professor Rosalind Dixon from UNSW Law & Justice, and mentor Dr. Zeny Edwards, OAM, for their continued support and guidance.

Special appreciation goes to all the schools, students, educators, and our dedicated volunteers George, Kenneth, Gabby, who made this yearโ€™s Model Global Parliament such a success.
