Since 1898, the Tweed River Agricultural Society has hosted the MURWILLUMBAH SHOW, offering fantastic family fun, high-quality agricultural contests, and a display of local products. Approximately 15,000 people visit the Show each year with around 200 commercial exhibitors showcasing their products and services. It is a celebration of Tweed culture, from our rural traditions to our modern day life
styles, providing unique experiences for everyone. Each year the country and city join together to enjoy agricultural competitions, animal experiences, entertainment, carnival fun, shopping and much more. Each year we have many Horse Events in Centre Ring, on both Friday and Saturday. There is also a Rodeo on Friday night. We have competitions for Dairy Cattle, Stud Beef Cattle, Commercial Beef Cattle, Sheep, Wool, Poultry, Sugar Cane, Bananas and a Miniature Goat Show. Our Pavilion is the home to many competitions and exhibits, including Farm Produce, Fruit & Vegetables, Horticulture, Preserves, Cooking, Fine Arts, Craftwork, Needlework, Home Brewing, Photography and displays from students from the local schools.
