You're right... we use AI...

You can attack us, or you can try to understand, that's completely your choice but let's get some things straight first.

Why do we do it?
Because it's a tool that can help us amplify our VERY limited resources. There are only so many hours in a day and the development of AI allows us to save a tonne of time on administrative bottlenecks and remedial or repetitive tasks. This allows us to focus on what is truly important and spend our energy on the human centred work that matters!

AI cannot tend to surrendered animals, collect and redistribute sporting goods to underprivileged families or advocate for minorities that are being excluded... but it is a tool that can give us the time to do these jobs that others don't seem willing to do.

Still don't like that we use it? You could always volunteer your time instead??? But nobody wants to talk about that...

Introducing the **Re-Play Program** - a community initiative by The Play Space Inc and Off The Bench designed to help children, young people and families access the sporting equipment they need to participate, belong and thrive. 💜🌈

Every year, countless sporting shoes, uniforms, balls, racquets and equipment sit unused in cupboards, sheds and garages… while many families are struggling to afford the cost of sport participation.

That’s where Re-Play comes in.

We collect quality pre-loved sporting equipment which is made available to people in our community who need it most - helping remove barriers and creating opportunities for inclusion, confidence, connection and play. 🧡

Look at these tiny newborns born at The Sanctuary this morning!

Not the greatest pics but didn't want to disturb them too much 🥰 These four teeny guinea pigs joined us this morning. Mum and all four babies are doing well.

Did you know...

Guinea pigs always give birth overnight. By morning they are cleaned and ready to join the herd!

Gross one but... Mum will eat all 'mess' from birth including any babies that didn't make it, to ensure a clean and sanitary environment for her new little ones.

Guinea pigs are born with a full coat and can immediately walk and communicate. They follow Mum around and feed from her for a few weeks but can eat food within a few days!

Its the coolest thing to witness. By the time I get to the pen in the morning they are just like the rest of the herd, just teeny tiny!
