LNP lead strategy to increase their votes.
NOW TAKE A GOOD HARD LOOK LEADERS WITHIN OUR INDIGENOUS COMMUNITIES. 😱
ONP has started their demands. Seems this is just a setup to set up the Government ruling over our black fellas rights.
IF we agree to this LNP sign up WE ARE DOOMED TO COLONISATION ONCE AGAIN.
DONT TRUST THIS ONE STEP TO GOVERNMENT.
LNP - National Liberal Party are too divisive and sneaky to agree with demands. Just reading these comments it shows the road ahead for the decisions being taken off our communities.

Media Release | Indigenous council access should be contingent on better outcomes
While indigenous councils talk up a new ‘accord’ providing them with ‘direct’ access to the Queensland government, they’re on notice to make sure it results in better outcomes in indigenous communities.
One Nation leader Senator Pauline Hanson said she did not oppose the accord but there was little point unless it addressed escalating crime, drug and alcohol abuse, domestic violence, low school attendance and housing problems in indigenous communities.
“They’re going to discover their access to be a bit selective,” Senator Hanson said. “I wrote to the Premier in June this year on behalf of councils who’ve been denied funding to respond to native title claims.
I’m a Senator for Queensland and I still haven’t had a response. “These councils can talk all they like about the opportunities that may come from this accord, but before we start talking about future opportunities we need to make sure we prioritise the urgent problems that need fixing now.
“Youth crime and domestic violence continue to plague these communities at high rates. Drug and alcohol abuse is rampant. Poor tenant care and behaviour has left taxpayerfunded housing in a shocking state of disrepair. Kids aren’t going to school. These communities are living in poor conditions where law and order is almost absent.
“Addressing these issues should be the only thing on the agenda for meetings under this accord with indigenous councils. We must see improvement before we can judge if this accord is worthwhile: lower crime rates, safer communities, more kids in school, less drug and alcohol abuse and an end to family and domestic violence. “I’m willing to give this arrangement some time to achieve these outcomes but I must acknowledge that many people in Queensland – the state which opposed the voice to Parliament more than any other – will see this accord as a form of voice and won’t be happy their views expressed at the referendum have been ignored.”
