MCEA are having a meeting on Monday 29th June at 4pm to discuss our upcoming major fundraiser 'Sparkle & Sprout'.

Sparkle and Sprout will be on Saturday 12th September at the Mungindi Showgrounds. This fundraiser is aimed to raise crucial funds to go towards a much needed carpark at our daycare.

Influenza immunisation for our littlest people......no needle required.

Influenza (flu) is serious but isn’t as scary if you’re vaccinated. A flu vaccine offers families and children the best protection from serious illness.

The yearly flu vaccine is free for children aged 6 months to under 5 years, Aboriginal children aged 6 months and over, and children with serious health conditions. It is recommended for everyone aged six months and over.

Children aged 2 - 4 years old can get a free nasal spray flu vaccine in NSW. It is gentle, painless, and needle-free.

🌟 Recent fundraising - MMADS 🌟

Thank you to MMADS for allowing our committee to organise the desserts for all 3 nights.

A massive thank you to our wonderful families that donated slices, tarts, cakes, cheesecakes and biscuits for everyone to enjoy.

Another thank you to our Vice President Taylor Beale for organising this fundraising event. It certainly takes a dedicated team to organise these events and we would be lost without ours.

👏 Working Bee - Incredible turn out and so many jobs completed! 👏

An amazing turn out for our working bee this morning. We are so lucky to have so many wonderful parents in our daycare community.

Thank you so much to our wonderful families who turned up to support our working bee this morning. Our daycare is looking spectacular and our children are very lucky to have an incredible learning space.

Many hands certainly make light work!

👀EOI - OOSH (out of school hours care)

MDCP (Mungindi Daycare & Preschool) are wanting to gather information from the Mungindi Community to see whether OOSH (out of school hours) care for Primary school students (& 4 - 5 yr olds attending MCS Pschool) would be something worthwhile.

The hours would be for AFTER SCHOOL only (3pm - 5pm). Monday - Thursday. Children would participate in afternoon activities. There would be a small cost (CCS-childcare subsidy available for eligible families).
